We have nearly breezed through spring, PurseForum Roundup fans, and are barreling headlong into summer. This week included a holiday of remembrance that also . I know that Rolex watches most of the time keep their value, and especially these models will most likely even appreciate their value but how far is this true in real life? Last edited: Jul 11, 2021. Reactions: 880 and floatinglili. smallfry My . Initially I chose the Rolex but after reading your post more thoroughly I changed to Panthere with diamonds Pros of Panthere 1) I have a Panthere and it is very comfortable to wear daily, even asleep. 2) Diamonds around the bezel help protect that raised area from scratches (I don’t have diamonds around mine) 3) I actually think black again white has a greater contrast .
my Rolex - purchased 7 months ago - is running fast. It's outside of acceptable specs. It doesn't bother me that much but I do feel I should get it corrected. When it's new like this, you aren't supposed to take to to a watch repair or jeweler. It has to go back to Rolex. General discussion of rings, watches, necklaces, earrings, etc. Recently published on the blog: A Review and Reveal of a Prized Balenciaga Throwback from the Early Aughts | The Show-Stopping Bags We Spotted at the Hermès Petit h Event | Get a First Look at What’s to Come from Loewe Next Year Thank you!! This colour is unfortunately still pretty rare. My cousin buys many Rolexes and has a great SA he works with. He requested this watch for me and we eventually got it 10 months later! I don’t think I would have got it if I had requested it myself (I’ve only bought one new Rolex directly). I think it also helped that I wanted it .

I just had to vent.dropped my watch from my dresser onto hardwood the other night. As soon as it hit the floor, I knew something was wrong. Brought it into the jeweler where I bought it yesterday and he says that it looks like I dislodged the movement. Probably 5 weeks at the Rolex Service Center and only 3 months out of the extended warranty . I've never sent a Rolex in for servicing, but from research from a forum of Rolex connoisseurs, you have to mail the watch to one of four official service centers- Dallas, NYC, Beverly Hills or San Fran. There are other jewelers who can do the servicing for around 0-0 but it's not the official Rolex servicing. Ah I see!! I know nothing about Rolex and walked into the store bc my husband wanted to check it out. I saw the same exact watch u have and said it was pretty. The AD said it was display only but had the diamond bezel available on the spot. I guess I got lucky bc I didn’t know how difficult it would be to get!! Cherishing mine more now The waiting game for Rolex watches at ADs right now is crazy, you won’t be able to get your desired watch immediately. It’s almost like waiting for a Birkin at a Hermes boutique. Your best bet if you want a Rolex watch pronto is to get it 2nd hand.
But PLEASE do NOT take it to ANY unauthorized place. I did that once and it took Rolex service many months and an extra ,000 to make up for the stuff the unauthorized place did to it (which they charged 0 for) before it was good again. I repeat DO NOT try to save money. ONLY authorized Rolex people should look at your BF's Rolex. ••• My first Rolex.28mm LDJ Oyster TT YG with domed bezel, silver dial & star diamonds! (hope I listed the specs correctly!) I’m a minimalist when it comes to jewelry & I’ve never been interested in luxury watches. My hubby is the Rolex collector & has tried to convince me into getting a 31mm LDJ jubilee fluted with MOP. I m sooooo sad!! I recently bought a Rolex datejust and today I noticed I have a scratch on the glass face of my watch!!!! I just got of the phone with my AD and apparently it would cost me 400 to 500 EUR to have it replaced and I would have to miss it for 8 weeks!!! Probably I ve hit the face with my engagement ring, which I wear on my other hand, cause .

The ones I've been eyeing are the Longines Dolce Vita with round dial, diamond bezel and markers, and a white face, and the Rolex Oyster Perpetual with rhodium face and Roman numeral markers. The Longines is more bling and feminine with the diamonds, plus it's a third of the price of the Rolex. -Find a Rolex AD in a smaller market i.e., not at a high rent address in a major metropolitan area. Establishing a relationship with an AD doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get the timepiece of your dreams unless you spend well into six figures on watches, and buy other items such as jewellery. I just bought my first Rolex and the SA said that wearing with my love bracelet and tennis bracelet will scratch the watch case and affect the movement. Anyone wear their Rolex with other bracelets? How did the watch wear? For reference, I .
DH has gotten me a cartier and rolex through the years but I still wear the Michele daily. So I meant to say was buy one nice thing and enjoy the heck out of it, and when it’s your own money, your own taste you will use it for years to come. That said rolex holds its value the best, it’s almost like cash. If you do have a manual Rolex - a rolex watch from before 1940s or from the Cellini collection - it should be brought in for cleaning and service every 5 - 10 years. An automatic watch should be brought in every 10-15 years (as long as you wear it .
Rolex watches hold their value very well, but it depends on the model. For the datejust model, the ones with blue faces and fluted bezels hold their value fairly well for a non-professional model. Even better would be a professional model like the Submariner or GMT II.
